After hearing Miami Nights 1984 on a cold winter day in Iceland something just went off, the love for synthwave kicked in. After starting writing some tracks and letting some friends hear it, Mad Motiv (formerly Motiv) was born. The lack of palm trees and beaches back in Iceland made the inspiration for a summer, surf kinda vibe. Bringing back the 80s.
